POMPE VAN MEERDERVOORT (Michiel), zoon van Michiel Pompe, heere van Meerdervoord en Maria Sasbout, den 22sten Januarij 1622 te Dordrecht geboren, werd door Karel I, koning van Engeland, den 15den Julij 1637, tot schildknaap verheven, en was heer van Meerdervoort, Kort-Ambacht enz., schepen (1638), en veertig (1638) zijner geboorteplaats, gecommitteerde ter admiraliteit in Zeeland (1639) en overleed den 9den December 1639. Hij huwde den 17den November 1637 Adriana van Beveren, oudste dochter van Kornelis van Beveren en Kristina Pijl, die hem twee kinderen schonk.
