Notes about Adriana van Dishoek

Zijn vader kwam in 1674 uit Batavia terug en zij ooms Ewoud en Piet er van Dishoeck waren werkzaam in respectievelijk Suratte en Bengalen. Ook de jonge Ewoud werd in Bengalen te werkgesteld. Regelmatig maakte hij daar promotie en vastgelegd in een resolutie van 24 juni 1707 werd hij aangesteld tot opperkoopman en hoofdadministrateur in Hougly. Op 26 augustus 1708 trouwde hij met Adriana, een dochter van zijn oom Ewoud van Dishoeck enAnna Groenevelt.
