HEEREMAN (Silvester), zoon van Claes Heereman en Volckjen Cat, zag het levenslicht den 12en April 1600, overl. 16 Jan 1673 en werd begraven in den Dom te Utrecht. Hij huwde in 1636 Anna van Swieten, dochter van Dirck en Elisabeth van Montfoort. Hij kocht de heerlijkheid Zuydwijck, welken naam hij en al zijn nakomelingen voegden bij den geslachtsnaam. De kinderen uit dit huwelijk waren Anna, Nicolaas, Diderik (zie aldaar).
Zijn geschilderd portret door D.D. Santvoort 1636 is in de verzameling Heereman van Zuydwijck op kasteel Surenburg bij Rheine.
