Heer van Ruinen, beleend met de heerlijkheid op 10 juni 1545 en Meinhövel, erft Meinhövel in het kerspel Hilbeck in Amt Hamm in Westfalen van zijn neef Berend van Munster, die het liet bouwen. Zij bewoonden te Ruinen het huis Oldenhof.
Inv. Middachten, reg. nr. 908. 16 juni 1558:
Hinrich van Munster, heer te Ruenen, en Elzebe zijn huisvr. beloven Gosen van Raisfeldt thom Roddennberge en Engelbert van Munster tot Alsth, hun oom en zwager, schadeloos te houden voor de verplichtingen, welke zij te zamen met hem bij brief van 14 juni 1558 onder verlening van onderpand hebben aangegaan jegens Bernhardt, elect van Munster, Diderich Ketteler, domkoster te Munster als gevolmachtigde van wijlen Bernhardt van Munster, Domproost te Munster, hunne neven en zwagers, en Catharina en Agnes van Munster, gezusteren, ter zake van de toewijzing aan Hinrich en Elzebe voornd. van het huis Meynhovel en andere erven en goederen, welke hun ex testamento krachtens erfopvolging zijn toegewezen.
