Sir Edward Noel, 2nd Viscount Campden was the son of Sir Andrew Noel and Mabel Harington. He married Hon. Juliana Hicks, daughter of Sir Baptist Hicks, 1st Viscount Campden and Elizabeth May, on 20 December 1605 at Leyton, Essex, England. He died on 8 March 1642/43 at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He was buried at Campden, Gloucestershire, England. His will was probated on 19 August 1643.
Sir Edward Noel, 2nd Viscount Campden held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rutland in 1601.
He was invested as a Knight on 13 May 1602.
He held the office of Sheriff of Rutland from 1608 to 1609.
He was created 1st Baronet Noel [England] on 29 June 1611.
He held the office of Sheriff of Rutland from 1615 to 1616.
He was created 1st Baron Noel of Ridlington, co. Rutland [England] on 23 March 1616/17.
