Schon 1436 war Statthalter auf Gotland, dann als Feldhauptmann des ersten nordischen Unionskönigs Erich I. von Pommern. Als gewaltiger Kriegsmann und Heeresführer erlangte er Bekannthei t weit über Pommern hinaus. So soll er auch brandenburgischer Ritter & Markgräflicher Rat gew esen sein, stand um 1452 in Kaiserlichen Diensten, wurde vielleicht selben Jahres in Rom zu m Ritter geschlagen. 1460 war er Landvogt der Neumark. Von 1462 führte er ein ca. 1400 Man n starkes Heer gegen Colberg. Die Stadt hatte sich wieder Herzog Erich mit den Dänen verbünde t. Die Fehde mit der Stadt dauerte bis 1475 und zog die gesamte Region in Mitleidenschaft. 14 69 verkaufte er sein Haus in der Stettiner Domstraße gegenüber der Marienkirche dem Jaggeteufel'schem Colleg daselbst.
