    Na de dood van Balster Tonnis in 1769 kocht zij in 1771 de hun vier onmondige kinderen uit. (Tonnis 12 jaar, Jacob 14 jaar, dochter N.N. 18 jaar en Aeilcke 20 jaar). en hertrouwde ze met Pieter Jans. Met hem bewoonden ze tot 1772 de boerderij. Mogelijk ging het financieel niet zo goed, want in 1772 verkochten de schuldeisers de boerenplaats met beklemming van 70 jukken land, doendeƒ187,- aan Willem Freerk Boelens, weduwnaar van Trijntje Drieuwes en zijn tweede vrouw Adriaantje Jans, weduwe van Cornelis Ottes.
    Zij bezaten ook land onder Kloosterburen, want in 1777 verkochten ze 6 jukken land aan Hendrik Baxem en Grietje Bettes te Kloosterburen, doende ƒ18,- aan de verkoperes en 3 percelen land, samen 22½ jukken land, aan Klaas Everts (Borgman) en Itje Munting op "Bokum".
