Op huijden den 4 september 1679 compareerde voor mij Govert de With, openbaer notaris in Dordrecht. D‘eerbare Lijntgen Dircxdr. Lacroij, gesworen stadtsvroedvrouwe alhier, Maijcken Jans huijsvrouwe van Lambert Pietersz. ende Lijsbeth Isaacx Poot huijsvrouwe van Jan Teunisz., alle borgeressen deser stede.
Ende verclaerden dat zij comparanten als vroedvrouwe en gebuijren respective des nachts tusschen den 30 der voorleden maent augustij present en tegenwoordich geweest sijn en geassisteert hebben bij Neeltje Jans Vaeck, jonge dochter, borgeresse deser stede swanger en alsdoen in arbeijt en barensnoot sijnde.
Ende dat zij getuijgen, voornamentlijck d’voornoemde Lijntgen Lacroij, d’voornoemde Neeltjen Jans Vaeck in haer uijtterste swaerste noot gevraecht en ondersocht hebbende, wie vader van ’t kindt was dat zij baren soude, d‘selve daer op geheel solemneelijck crachtich en driftich verclaerde en affirmeerde dat Willem de Vlucht vader was van ’t kindt, daer van sij
beswangert was en baren soude, ende dat zij met niemant ter werelt anders, voor ofte naer als metten voornoemde de Vlucht geconverseert hadde, daerbij geerfisterende ende daer opbarende haer kindt sijnde van de mannelijcke sexe, dat doot ter werelt quam.”
