Aart van 't Net, bakker wordt vrachtrijder.
Aart van 't Net en Cornelia Karelsen blijven in Soest en gaan in 1907 wonen achter de Eng in Soestdijk aan de Bakkersweg 1 (officiële naam bij raadsbesluit van 30 november 1911). Oorspronkelijk heette deze weg Bakkerssteeg, te danken aan het feit dat daar een bakker woonde. Dat was dus Aart van 't Net (en wellicht een voorganger). Zij krijgen zes kinderen. Hij begon daar dus zijn eerste eigen bedrijf: een bakkerij en bezorger van brood. Een paar jaar later verhuisde de bakkerszaak naar de Julianalaan nr. 50. In begin 20e eeuw emigreerden veel Nederlanders. Ook Aart van 't Net was dat van plan. Hij verkocht begin 1914 zijn bakkerij aan G.H. Rense, maar zijn vrouw zag op het laatste moment af van het emigratieplan. Aart besloot toen maar weer een eigen bedrijf te starten, hij werd in 1914 vrachtrijder. Hij liet in dat jaar in de Nieuwstraat twee huizen bouwen, nummer 22 en 24. Hij verkocht nummer 22 aan een marktkoopman die in lederwaren handelde. Hij begon op nummer 24 met paard en wagen en een T-Ford een bodedienst op Amersfoort en ging meel bezorgen bij de bakkers in de regio, hij zag toen kennelijk meer brood in het bezorgen dan in het bakken. Vanaf 1920 plaatste hij wekelijks een advertentie in de Soester, ook toen was hij al gespecialiseerd in verhuizingen.
