Antonie Cornelis Ledegang kwam 1947 vooral om gezondheidsredenen in Baarn wonen. Vanaf die tijd was hij lid van de A.R. kiesvereniging Baarn. Voorts was hij lid van de Geref. Kerk. en van de Kerkeraad voor algemene zaken. Ouderling van de Wijkkerkraad Oost. Sinds 1925 was hij werkzaam bij de Sociale Verzekeringsbank te Amsterdam. Op 1 Juli 1967 vertrok hij daar met wachtgeldregeling. Ledegang woonde aan de Sparrenlaan 84. In 1970 volgde hij Jan Kuurman op als raadslid voor de ARP in Baarn.
