Jos Hoogenbosch:
Mijn familie heeft jaren lang deel uit gemaakt van de bevolking in Baarn.
Turfstraat 30 en het magazijn er naast was een pand van de familie Gielen verre aangetrouwde familie van mijn moeder.
In 1942 moesten mijn ouders plotseling uit Driehuis Velsen vertrekken, op last van de Ortscommandant.
Zij kwamen terecht in de Turfstraat 30 in Baarn . Een veel te klein huis( geen douche en een tappunt in de keuken) voor een familie met zeven kinderen.
t.n Ted(1924), Loek(1925), Ben, Miep( Tweelingen meisjes 1927 ) Kees(1932), Clemens(1936) , Jos(1937).
Ted in 1944 20 jaar dook onder bij Truus Brouwer op een boerderij over de Eem en Loek 19 jaar had als hobby het verzet en werd daarom veel gezocht.
Woonde regelmatig wel thuis in de Turfstraat. Dook verschillende keren ook onder in Baarn en Soest.
In 1946 zijn mijn ouders verhuisd naar de Nicolaas Beetslaan 22. Waar mijn Moeder woonde tot ca. 1986.
Mijn Vader Bernhard Hoogenbosch is jarenlang bestuurslid van de Baarnsche Oranje vereniging en Baarns Bloei geweest.
Ted en Ben zaten jarenlang in de leiding van de RK padvinders.
Kees was lid padvinders en mede oprichter van Voetbalvereniging Limvio
Clemens was lid van de Padvinders, Actief gymnastiek vereniging en zanger van het parochiekoor van St Nicolaas.
Jos was lid van Giraffes, Actief, zanger van het parochiekoor en de Baarnsche ziekenomroep.
