Johanna Cornelia trouwde op 19-11-1930 met Dirk Heij (21-9-1903, Hilversum) maar hij overleed op 31-3-1933 te Laren aan de gevolgen van een auto-ongeluk. Het huwelijk was kinderloos. Daarna kreeg zij in 1940 kennis aan Jan de Graaff uit Amsterdam. Ze werd zwanger van mijn vader, Jan heeft mijn vader wel geecht (document is in mijn bezit) maar ze konden door de oorlog niet trouwen. Dus kreeg mijn vader de meisjesnaam van mijn oma. In 1944 maakte Jan de Graaff een eind aan hun relatie. Mijn oma heeft, toen mijn vader gebroren werd, de naam "weduwe Heij" laten vallen en is weer haar meisjesnaam gaan gebruiken, Van den Brink.
