Hij staat in de deuropening en zijn dochter Aukje, nü mevrouw Postema staat op de stoep. Het heeft later diverse eigenaars in gekend: Stomps, van Veen, van Uden en misschien nog wel enkele. Het was toen Café ’’Novum” geworden. Boven in de gevel stond in een steen ”De Gekroonde Valk”. Erachter was een zaaltje waarin veel feesten werden gegeven.
