Notitie bij overlijden van Willem: Hij werd wees op 14 jaar en werd ond er voogdij geplaatst van zijn broer Valere eveneens woonachtig te Klerken. Negen maanden later stierf zijn broer. Zijn schoonbroer en zus namen de voogdij over en aldus ging hij wonen te Brugge.
