OBITUARY:
(VANDEN BERG) Mrs. Lucille Postema, aged 90, of Kentwood, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 10, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham; a son, Daniel; and brothers, John, Andrew, and Edward VandenBerg. Surviving are her children, Jeanne (Alvin) Post, Karen (Vernon) Lanning, Joseph (Arlene) Postema, Rosemary Sester, Susan (John) Pluger, Sarah (John) Doesburg; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; brother, Pete (Dorie) VandenBerg; sister, Mary (James) Fennema; sisters-in-law, Jessie VandenBerg, Margaret VandenBerg, Henrietta Postema; many nieces and nephews. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Crystal Manor for their loving care of Lucille. The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, at East Paris Christian Reformed Church, 3065 East Paris Ave. SE, with Rev. Daniel Brouwer officiating. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice. The family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at: STROO FUNERAL HOME 1095 68TH ST. SE www.stroofuneralhome.com
