OBITUARY:
VANDEN BERG - Margaret Vanden Berg (Hoevenaar), age 83, is at peace with her heavenly Father on June 10, 2009. Margaret had a great love for her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and her family. She raised her family using the verse 'As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord' (Joshua 24:15). She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, her grandson, Jonathan Bandstra and her brother, Neil Hoevenaar. She is survived by her children, Bill and Mary (Wagner) Vanden Berg, Tom and Camilla (Horn) Vanden Berg, Phyllis and Jim Bandstra, Pete and Kathy (Wiersma) Vanden Berg, Don and Karen (Tietsma) Vanden Berg, and Joanne Vanden Berg. Also surviving are her many grandchildren and her great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Herman Hoevenaar, Sue Olcott, Helen Verburg, Bill and Lorraine Hoevenaar, Hank Hoevenaar, and Ann and Lawrence Koestier; her brother-in-law, Pete and Dorie Vanden Berg and sister-in-law, Mary and Jim Fennema. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 6655 Cascade Road SE, with Pastor James Karsten and Pastor Milton Doornbos officiating. Interment will take place at Cascade Cemetery.
