    Op 21-02-1918 vertrokken uit IJmuiden met zes bemanningsleden onder leiding van schipper P. Vooijs. Op 26 februari is het schip door de KW 69 nog gezien op ongeveer 15 mijl ten N.N.W van het lichtschip Doggersbank-Noord. Na die datum is er niets meer van het schip en zijn bemanning vernomen. Vermoedelijk is het schip op een mijn gelopen.De bemanning bestond uit:
    schipper Pieter Vooijs 32 jaar
    stuurman Cornelis Vooijs 27 jaar
    matroos Willem Haasnoot 47 jaar
    matroos Jacob Barnhoorn 37 jaar
    matroos Huig Hoek 23 jaar
    jongste Nicolaas Hoek 14 jaar
