    Waarschijnlijk is het op 16 augustus na een luchtaanval gezonken. Het schip was op deze datum om 9.00 uur op 25 mijl N.N.W van IJmuiden gezien door de IJM 118.
    De 11 koppige bemanning is hierbij omgekomen. (De Oorlogsgravenstichting vermeld als datum van het bombardement 17-08-1941)
