In huize Don waar mijn moeder dienstmeisje was, waren ook Joodse onderduikers en waarschijnlijk is ze er op die manier ingerold. Een joods meisje die erg op mijn moeder leek, kreeg haar aussweiss en heeft op die manier de oorlog overleeft. Later bleek dat ze beiden naar elkaar gezocht hebben, maar mijn moeder werd pas kort na haar overlijden gevonden.
