    Notitie:
    Op 05-10-1959 gaat tijdens het uit stomen van de KW 85 "Huiberdina Gijsbertha" Cornelis Nijgh, 19 jaar overboord en verdrinkt. Dit gebeurd tussen de pieren van IJmuiden. Hij moest op wacht en was onderweg van het vooronder naar de brug. Bij het overlopen van een luik gleed het uit en viel met zijn rug tegen de verschansing en ging overboord. Diverse schepen houden te vergeefs een zoektocht. Op 13 november werd zijn lichaam gevonden op het Duitse eiland AMRUM en op 21 november begraven te Katwijk aan Zee. Hij kon geïdentificeerd worden aan de hand van een foto van zijn zuster waar nog een adres op stond.
