Dingenis Murks werd op 3 maart 1898 ingeschreven in de gemeente Den Helder.
Hij was werkzaam bij de Kon. Marine als hofmeester. Op 1 maart 1898 stond hij ingeschreven op het wachtschip Willemsoord. Op 1 februari 1904 is hij uitgeschreven uit het bevolkingsregister van Den Helder en verhuisd naar de gemeente Gouda, Prins Hendrikstraat 329. Hij was toen gepensioneerd sergeant-hofmeester. Vanaf 31 maart 1904 ook gewoond hebbende aan de Bockenbergstraat 871 en vanaf 4 april 1905 aan de P.C. Bothstraat 117d te Gouda.
Zijn vrouw en 4 kinderen, te weten Cornelis Bernardus, Simonetta Hendrika, Cornelia Maria Adriana en Frits Dingennis, zijn met hem meegegaan naar Gouda.
Later, op 22-06-1904, is Wilhelmina vanuit Rotterdam weer aangesloten en op 5 juli 1906, vanuit Nederlans Indië, het oudste kind Pieter Jacobus.
