Greet is geboren in het huis van haar grootouders Geldens, de Barbarossastraat. Het stel heft daar waarschijnlijk even ingewoond. Ze verhuisden darna naar de Ubbergseweg 154 (huur), waar Camille, Loek en Tine zijn geboren. Daarna was de verhuizing naar Maastricht. Retour Nijmegen waarschijnlijk 1931. Toen huurden ze een huis in de Mesdagstraat, daar zijn Ton en Niny geboren. Het huis aan de Ubbergseweg werd gekocht 1933-1934, en daar zijn Hans, Marthe en Paul. Na de oorlog moest het huis opnieuw worden opgebouwd, omdat het midden in de vuurlinie had gelegen. Het gezin woonde in de Borneostraat, daar werd Jacques geboren. Het gezin keerde terug op de Ubbergseweg in 1947. Toen de moeder van Willem overleed is hij op zijn veertiende naar kostschool gestuurd in Stratum, Eindhoven, Pensionaat Eikenburg , samen met zijn broer Camille. Een aantal jaren later is hij naar een brouwersopleiding gestuurd in Duitsland, waarschijnlijk in Krefeld. Beide broers hebben gewerkt in brouwerij De Haas.  Uiteindelijk is de brouwerij verkocht. Willem heeft eerst een wijnhandel gehad in Oosterhout, nadat dat mis ging is hij in de steenfabriek van de familie Geldens werken. Hoofdkantoor zat in de Parklaan in Nijmegen. De wijnzaak is failliet gegaan, de compagnon zou met het geld ervandoor zijn gegaan. Rene is geboren in Oosterhout.
