LifeSketch: Obit Verna Adelaide Fulton, 95, Hebbville, formerly of Bridgewater and Lunenburg, passed away in the South Shore Regional Hospital on December 2, 1999. Born at Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Allison and Sarah (Aulenback) Snyder, Bridgewater and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Verna was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was a choir member for many years; a member of the North End Ladies Aid and a former member of the Lunenburg Ladies Curling Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry S. Fulton, Lunenburg; sisters, Jennie Hennessey, North Grafton, Mass.; Sadie Wile, Lovie Thompson, and Dena Frausell, all of Bridgewater; Jewell Veniot, Ottawa; brothers, Willis Snyder, North Grafton; Gordon E. Snyder, Bridgewater and a brother in infancy. Mouring her loss are her nephew, Lawrence (Vi) Copeland, Bridgewater; nieces, Millie (Wes) Trenholm, Kentville; Jean Nault, Sutton, United States; and Olive Fisher, Barry's Bay, Ontario; many great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no visitation by Verna's request. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held in St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 4, at 1:30 p.m., Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating, assisted by Rev. Willis Ott. Interment will take place in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran church, Bridgewater or to the charity of your choice.
