Deze familie is na de eerste wereldoorlog teruggekeerd naar Passendale en is op de hoeve gebleven tot 1935. Na hen is de familie Deleye op de hoeve gekomen.
Info over de hoeve:
In 1850 kopen Karel Lefever en echtgenote Virgenie Vannoote een hoeve langs de Oude Moorsledestraat van ongeveer 12 ha. Deze hoeve bestond uiteen viertal los van elkaar staande gebouwen. Door de familie Lefever werd een vijfde gebouw bijgeplaatst , een kapelletje langs de straat. In1911 koopt Lea Lefever de helft van de hoeve uit onverdeeldheid, haar zuster Romanie de andere helft. In 1914 vlucht de familie naar Frankrijk in de streek van de Calvados. In 1921, na de terugkeer, koopt Lea Lefever de andere helft van de hoeve aan haar zuster Romanie, echtgenote Nestor Vandenweghe. In 1933 verkopen de eigenaars Hildeman Claerbout en Lea lefever , handelaars te Lichtervelde , de hoeve in openbare verkoping in gasthof ‘Patria' te Roeselare. Op 4 april 1933 koopt Jerome Van Eecke in naam en voor rekening van Camiel Degezelle-Irma Vandevijver de hofstede. Een deel van de landbouwgrond , gelegen langs de Statiestraat, verdwijnt in bouwgrond.
Over het kapelletje : in 1933 wordt de kapel, toegewijd aan O.L.Vrouw van Lourdes, bij de openbare verkoping gratis aangeboden aan Gerard Lefever doch deze achtte het wenselijk dat het kapelletje aan de nieuwe eigenaars zou toebehoren wat dan ook geschiedde. De kapel is opgetrokken uit baksteen met bovenaan een ijzeren kruis . Binnen is de kapel gevloerd met zwarte en witte tegels, gelegd in dambordvorm. De kapel kan worden afgesloten door een dubbele deur.
De hoeve kreeg de naam : Hof ter Schage, naar de heerlijkheid ‘t Schagein de buurt. Hierover is in een historisch werk het volgende te lezen : “Het was een behuusde hofsteede, bepalnt, groot onder watere, bosschen, meerschen ende winnende landt , XXIIIJ ghemeten ofte daer ontrent; ligghende binder prochie van Paschendaele, over de zuudzijde van de strate die loopt van Paschendaele naar Moorslede, de noordzyde der strate die licht voor Sint Omaersfonteine “.
