Uit het huwelijk van Jan Peter met Lijnken Allart worden de volgende kinderen geboren:
1.Apollonia Jans Watrings.Ze trouwt met Jan Cornelis Cocks die schepen van Oosterhout is van 1603 tot in 1624. Er zijn geen kinderen.
2.Cornelia Jans Wateringhs,vóór 1606 ongehuwd overleden.
3.Peter Jan Watrings, geboren rond 1570. Op 22 september 1596 wordt hij tegen een honorarium van 9 pond Vlaams het honderd aangesteld tot borgemeester over het westeinde. In 1613 wordt hij schepen van Oosterhout tot aan zijn dood op 23 oktober 1624. Hij wordt begraven in templo (in de kerk). In zijn stede op de Houtse steeg zuid , belast met een cijns van twee lopen rogge per jaar aan de pastoor, krijgt hij negen kinderen.
