bijeen te krijgen. In 1907 vertrok de rest van het gezin, met het gezin van Cornelis, echter
zonder Lijntje. Men maakte de overtocht op de "Potsdam" en arriveerde op 13 Apr 1907 te New York.
Maarten kreeg in de USA een baan als bewaker bij een houtzagerij
