Kasteelboerderij
De kasteelboerderij is ingericht als restaurant. Er kunnen ook grote gezelschappen tot 250 personen terecht.

Basisinformatie
Dit bijna kasteelachtige gebouw straalt rijkdom en luxe uit. De eigenaar was dan ook jonkheer Van Aeswijn, bevriend met Willem van Oranje. Hij liet in 1717 het grote voorhuis bouwen met een extra verdieping, de herenkamer en rijke keuken. Net als veel andere Gelderse en Utrechtse edelen had deze Utrechtse burgemeester belangstelling voor de exploitatie van grote landbouwbedrijven in de Beijerlanden. Hij verpachtte de boerderij aan Jan Schillemans. Daaraan heeft de boerderij de naam Schillemansstede overgehouden. Alleen de herenkamer was verboden terrein voor de pachtboer. De jonkheer logeerde er wanneer hij op jacht ging.
