Daar waar de Kwakseweg de Oud-Beijerlandse kreek kruist staat de Johannahoeve, een boerderij van het tuitgeveltype. Deze werd in 1804 gebouwd voor rekening van de eigenaar-gebruiker Cornelis Govertsz. Schilperoord. Dit type is vanaf de 16e tot en met de 19e eeuw gebouwd.
De vijf bovenste ramen zijn niet echt maar op de gevel geschilderd. Daar wilde men rijkdom mee voorwenden. Men betaalde namelijk belasting over het aantal ramen dat in een pand aanwezig was en zo suggereerde de eigenaar een pand met veel ramen te bezitten.
