Notitie bij het huwelijk van Jaan en Klaas: De nakomelingen met aanverwanten van Klaas en Jaan zijn drie keer op een reünie bij elkaar gekomen. De laatste keer was dit in Fleuresto te Naaldwijk op 12 oktober 2002. Op dat moment stonden als nakomelingen en aanverwanten 600 personen geregistreerd. Ruim 300 daarvan waren aanwezig op de reünie.

Klaas en Sjaan waren diep gelovig (RK) en hebben hun geloof ook meegegeven aan de kinderen.
