Zwaan en Jansje Teunsdr. Boeke. Hij huwde 2e Rijnsburg 30 december 1770 met Jannetje Dedel, ged. Rijnsburg 2 november 1732, dochter van Dirk Dedel en Maartje van Egmond. Jan kocht op 7 maart 1782 een huis in het Katwijker Einde met nog een erf, waar voorheen een huis op had gestaan, alsmede een partij tuinland op De Woerd. Hij leende voor deze transaktie geld van zijn zwager Willem Dedel. Zijn tante Clara Nagtegaal, ongehuwd, legateerde op 6 april 1789 aan Jan Maljerdsz. Nagtegaal een som van 30 gulden.
