Hallo Jan, 
Adrianus van Nierop die jij hierboven beschrijft was mijn vader, ik ben de zijn jongste en enige zoon uit het huwelijk met Cornelia Vreugdenhil dat is gesloten op 19 september 1951, hij was daarvoor gehuwd met Huibertje Noordam uit Maasland waarbij hij 7 kinderen kreeg. 

Hij is geboren als tweeling in de Duifpolder in Maasland op 26 augustus 1912 als een na laatste kind van Adrianus van Nierop en Aagje Quak. 

Zijn beroep was veehouder, het was een echte veeboer en had veel verstand van koeien, maar nadat hij op z'n 55e jaar een zware hersenbloeding 
kreeg moest hij z'n boerderijtje verkopen omdat hij het zware handwerk niet meer kon doen, hij is toen met mijn moeder in 1970 naar Winterswijk verhuist 
waar een oudere zoon van hem een varkens bedrijfje had naast zijn baan als chauffeur, die heeft dat toen uitgebreid zodat mijn vader er op kon passen 
als hij op de bus zat en zodat ze er allebei van konden leven. 

In november 1988 nadat hij weer diverse hersenbloedingen had gehad en daardoor steeds meer zorg nodig had heb ik hem met veel moeite kunnen overtuigen dat het beter was om weer naar Maasland te verhuizen in een aanleunwoning van het bejaardenhuis "de Hammerdreef "en daar hebben ze nog 6,5 jaar met plezier gewoond dicht bij alle resterende familieleden vrienden en kennissen en een paar kinderen en kleinkinderen. 

Op 9 februari 1995 werd mijn moeder Cornelia Vreugdenhil niet meer wakker en nadien hoefde het voor hem niet meer en is toen op 10 juni 1995 overleden in Poeldijk in het verzorgingstehuis "de Witte Brug", waar onze zuster en zijn enige dochter toen woonde. 

Hopelijk je hiermee voldoende te hebben geïnformeerd en dat je de aanpassingen toepast en ik wens je veel succes met je verder zoektochten en 
mocht je nog meer vragen hebben in deze "roept u maar", want als onze familie iets wil weten over "vroeger" dan vragen ze mij meestal wel, vooral op familiebijeenkomsten.
