De gezinskaart van het stadsarchief Amsterdam toont dat Grietje weduwe is (aanduiding "W").
Achter de naam van Berend wordt naast zijn geboortedatum en -plaats in kolom 16 zijn overlijdensdatum vermeld: 12 mei 1930.
Verder vermeldt de gezinskaart dat Berend bediende is in een tabakszaak. Hij is op 1 september 1896 de gemeente ingekomen uit Lemsterland.
Grietje vertrekt kort na zijn overlijden op 14 juni 1930 naar Oudehaske (Haskerland).
Berend woont achtereenvolgens aan de 2de Wittenburgerdwarsstraat 16, 1897 Bloemgracht 103 en 1905 1ste Leliedwarsstraat 22 ten huize van Johannes Hendriks Steneker, de eerste echtgenoot van Grietje Sikkema! Verdere verhuizingen zijn niet bekend.
Grietje Sikkema beschikt over een eigen gezinskaart (deze heb ik niet gevonden)
