Maria Koppedrayer was born September 12, 1877 at Ackley, Iowa. On March 12, 1902, she was united in marriage to Jake Zagerman. They lived at Ackley for a while, later moving to Boyden, then Sheldon and the last few years at Sanborn. To this union two children were born: Ann, Mrs. Jake Van Grouw of Redlands, California; and Kathryn, Mrs. Nick Verbrugge of Sanborn.

Survivors include the widower, 2 daughters, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Also a sister, Mrs. Alice DeVries of Hull.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday, May 31, at 1:00 at the Funeral Home in Sanborn and 1:30 at the Christian Reformed Church. Pallbearers are Clarence Van Grouw, Jim Verbrugge, Ray Grooters, John Hofman, Clarence Getting and Gerrit Roetman.

Interment will take place in Roseland Cemetery.
