I thought you may be interested in some information I received on Charles Durrant 1799 Born ?

Charles & Maria had 5 children.

Daniel 1824-1862
Eliza 1826 -1832
Charles 1828-1834
Thomas 1830-1900
Eliza Maria 1841.

I received a copy of Charles Durrant's death certificate from Ancestry.

He died on the 7th August 1843 aged 44 of Diseased Lungs. Present at death was Mary Edwards.
Address at the time of death High St, Bromley.

It appears that Charles never used his first name, Daniel. His full name was Daniel Charles Durrant.

I ordered the death certificate under Charles Durrant as that is the name he has used.

The death certificate no -DYC 730357 Registered 12th August 1843 issued Bow & Bromley, County Middlesex.

Through all census records I have never found any information on Maria or Eliza.

I found Charles in the 1841 census living at Gloucester Mews, Marylebone aged 40 but he appears to be living alone.

Durrant seemed to change to Durant through the generations. The first 4 children all christening records show Durrant.

Hope this information helps you in some way as I seemed to hit a brick wall at this stage.
