I've been trying to avoid splashing out on certificates from the GRO but I've just received the birth certificates for Hannah & Roseanna. The details are:
Hannah, born Novr. 30 1838 at 11 Hatfield Street, St. Lukes. Father Samuel (blacksmith) & mother Johanna, formerly Mulkey, who was the informant and made her mark.
Roseanna, born twentyeigth April 1847 at 12 Wilson Place, St. Pancras. Father Samuel (engineer) & mother Joanna, formerly McKay; again she was the informant and made her mark.
As neither appear on the subsequent census, I think we can take for granted that Hannah died Sept. qtr. 1838 and Rosanna (Joanna) in June qtr. 1848.
Warm wishes. Dick
