    Hi Brian
Just thought I would let you know that I found out the location where my grandmother Edith Ashford was laid to rest. She had been cremated and her ashes interred at the City of London Cemetery at Manor Park. At least I know now and will probably go there one day to pay my respects when I get a chance. This could be useful information for you aswell if you are still researching the Ashford family history.
    Regards
    Beverly

Hi Brian

As you are related to the Cook/Ashford side of the family, I wondered if you have any information about my gran Edith Ellen Putt, Edith Ashford's daughter. I didn't know her and only know that she was a patient at Goodmayes hospital in Essex . She resided there for many years until her death in 1983. She was apparently mentally ill. I don't even know whether she was cremated or buried which is sad as I don't know where to locate her grave (if she has one). It would love to hear from you if you have any information about her, or if not you, maybe somebody else from the family might.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Beverly
