Sorry for the delay.
We have been investigating Dorothy England's marriage.
It transpires that she did marry aged 15 and lied, using her dead, elder sister's birth certicicate to deceive the authorities. Then, when she was 18 she must have confessed and the marriage certificate was officially altered. Fascinating.
