Bij het huwelijk wordt gesproken van Pieter Cornelisz van Onselen. Dit acht ik onwaarschijnlijk. Voor Pieter Leenderts pleit een correcte leeftijd bij overlijden in 1811 en vernoemingen van de eerste twee kinderen naar zijn ouders: Trijntje en Leendert. Uitdaging blijft het huwelijk van Jannetje Dirksdr van 't Riet, waar op zich ook geen andere kandidaat voor is, in 1768. De optie zou zijn dat zij dan al is overleden, maar tot dusverre heb ik daar geen bewijs van gevonden. (MB 9 aug 2020).
