Isabella was involved in a number of ladies' committees in Launceston, including the Girls' Industrial School, the Queen Victoria Hospital and St John's Church. Her husband William died in 1898, sh ortly after they moved into their new home 'Nyllavert' in Tamar Street between York and Brisbane Streets. Isabella died on 23 Oct 1913 aged 74. She was buried at the Cypress Street Cemetery. See Th e Examiner 2 Jun 2007, page 47.
