    Notes from Obituary event: Services for Lucian Rollins of Monticello are 2 p.m., Monday, March 18, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.

    Mr. Rollins, 83, died March 16, 2002, at his residence. He was born in Franklin County on June 2, 1916, to Docia Corbin and Stanton Rollins.

    He was a retired millwright. He was a member of Carmel Baptist Church. He was a member of the Monticello Masonic Lodge.

    Preceding him in death were his parents.

    Survivors are his wife, Ladue Rollins of Monticello; his son, Larry J. Rollins of Meadville; his daughters, Janice Hearn and Elaine Flanagan, both of Monticello, Faye Rollins of Dickinson, Texas, and Ann White of Petal; his brother, Stanton Rollins Jr. of Meadville; his sisters, Eunice Norris and Helen Halford, both of Meadville, and Jeffie Mae Norris of Franklinton, La.; and 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
