He was in the French military and was sent to Quebec, Canada to fight the English, Indians and some of the British colonists, living in New England, USA just below the Canadian border. I do not have a accurate date of when he shipped out of France to Quebec, but estimating around 1750. He stayed in the French military until about 1760 when he married and had 14 children living in Chambly, Quebec, Canada.
