GHA: Volgens het Kamerboek politiemeesters Gouda 1777 (ac2, inv.nr. 314, blz. 61) is Cornelis op 15 apr 1777 gedaagde in een zaak waarin eiser Claas Willemsz, wonende even buiten maar onder de jurisdictie van deze stad, een betaling eist van 16.15.- als restitutie van het teveel betaalde of verrekende van twee rekeningen gekregen van gedaagde of zijn vrouw. Vonnis: Conform de eis, alsmede in de kosten.
