Aart (ome Oort) trouwde Maria Kas die rooie Marie werd genoemd dit omdat zij rood haar had. En om geen naamsverwarring te krijgen in de familie met tante Marie. Hij verdiende zijn dagelijks brood als transport ondernemer woonde op de hoek Hooglandseweg - Amerfoortseweg. Hij werd toen onze vader niet meer terug kwam, als onze voogd aangewezen. Kon later weinig voor ons doen omdat hij bij een ernstig ongeluk een schedelbasis fractuur had op gelopen wat hem geheugen verlies had bezorgd.
