Russell Ray Aalbers, age 69, of Monroe,Jasper co., Iowa died Monday September 29, 2009

son of Antone Aalbers and Bessie Mae Robison, was born 25 Jan 1939 in Monroe, Jasper Co., Iowa, member of US Army, moved to Detroit Michigan, working for Ford Motor Company, in the hydraulics division, retiring from Ford, Russell moved back to Monreo area. He enjoyed working with his ???? and fishing, and having a good time with his friends. Russell's sence of humor will be greatly missed was a member of the American Legion of Taylor, Michigan.

survivers are his son Richard Tone Aalbers of Romulus, brothers and sisters, Shirley McGregor of Reasnor, Richard Aalbers of Monroe, Mary () Scherer of Johnston, Larry Aalbers of Olympia, Washington, Betty Aalbers, Charlotte (Curt) Prather of Henderson, Nebraska, Bruce Aalbers of Monroe, Sally (Steve) Knowles, Topeka, Kansas, and Jerry (Sandy) Aalbers of Pella, many nieces, nephews, friends. Russell was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Kathleen, brother Fred Aalbers and nephew Craig Aalbers.
