Opgetekend uit de mond van Ans van Onna-Peijnenburg, dochter van Clasina Gielisse, die een nicht was van "tante Lien" (Mechelina): Tante Lien had samen met haar man een pension aan de Smalle Haven, gelegen vlak naast de in 1905 geopende fabriek I van de Gruijter. Een afbeelding daarvan is te vinden in: De Gruijter, Geschiedenis van een kruideniersimperium, Kees van den Oord, Waanders uitgevers Zwolle pagina 4. Ook staat het pand nog op een foto )d.d.1950' in het boek `De Gruijters Snoepje van de Week`, Paul Kriele, uitgeverij Bastion Oranje, pag. 137, maar dan zonder de grote letters Logement Café Bòmer/Gielisse op de gevel en het dak.
Tante lien en haar dochter hebben jaren en jaren geleefd van de opbrengst van de verkoop vann het pand aan De Gruijter, maar hadden het later financileel niet best, zo woonden in een huisje aan de..... De familie hielp. Zo kocht mijn tante Rie )zuster van mijn moeder, van haar eerste salaris, een koperen vijzel uit de inboedel van tante Lien. later heb ik die van haar geeerfd. Ikzelf kocht de Singer naaimachine van tante Lien, nog steeds in m ijn bezit.
Opmerking van mijzelf, Jacques van Onna± ik herinner mij een bezoek aan tante Lien, ik denk met tante Rie, toen ik bij tante Jo)hanna' Verkaar/Gielisse gelogeerd was. Het was een trapje op, een heel klein kamertje met een kachel en uitzicht op het viaduct bij het fort. Tante Lien was een klein, vriendelijk oud vrouwtje in de negentig, geheel zwart gekleed in voor mij ouderwetse kleren, met een omslag.
