"Henry C. Schook, a former businessman, died Friday (Jan. 19, 1996) at his home in Pagedale of a heart atack. He was 95.
"Mr. Schook owned and operated Schook Ice and Fuel Co. in Pagedale and in Wellston for about 35 years before he retired in the early 1960s.
"After he retired, he drove a school bus for 13 years in the Normandy School District, and he was a former board member of the Wellston School District.
"A funeral service will be at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at Shepard Funeral Home, 9255 Natural Bridge Road. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Shepard Funeral Home, 9255 Natural Bridge Road. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
"Among the survivors are two sisters, Olivia "Bobbie" Lesher of St. Louis and Louise Griffith of San Alto, Calif.; four grandcrhildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild."
