De familie verhuist op 13-04-1926 vanuit de Peelstraat A 179 te Boekel naar Elsendorp, enige tijd na het overlijden van vader Merten. In de Gerele Peel wordt een stuk ononygonnen land gekocht en een boerderij gebouwd, waar ze enkele jaren woonden. Tot dat dochter Driek trouwt met Gradje Jonkers en op de boerderij gaat wonwn. Het stuk grond wordt ontgonnen en verdeeld zodat er uiteindelijk 4 gezinnen op kunnen leven en werken. Leen huwt Helena Adriaans uit DE Mortel en bouwt iets verder op een boerdwrij. Jennemie gaat met haar zonen Ties en Jan een huis bouwen in het Paradijs, daaraan grenzend. Zoon Willem zit intussen in Odiliapeel en is getrouwd met Bertha van Deursen. Jennemie sterft in 1936.
