Ze is een dochter van Kasban en Knot en huwde later met Henricus Cornelis Josephus Teillers (1873-1936), officier in het KNIL.
Op haar grafsteen te zeist, waar ze op 7-6-1990 overleed, staat ze als "Siti Soehari Teillers-Ninta". Niemand in de familie kon helderheid verschaffen over naam. Als je naam leest op de grafsteen, krijg je idee dat haar achternaam Ninta was en Siti Soehari een soort voornaam. Volgens oudere familieleden had ze een soort lagere adellijke titel en was ze een Soedanese.
In haar in Nederland in 1977 gemaakte testament staat ze als "Nji Ninta (of Nenta)"zonder Siti Soehari. Ook niet op haar persoonskaart (alleen Ninta). Het staat alleen op de grafsteen H.C.J. Teillers-Ninta.
