We kennen te Leuven een ridder Hendrik Roelants, raadslid in 1309 en 1319. In 1314 was hij aanwezig bij de inhuldiging van hertog Jan III.


Lodewijk Roelants was burgemeester van Leuven in 1343, en werd 'Heer van Linden' door zijn huwelijk [ in 1442] met Mathilda van den Calsteren.


en Willem Roelants streed in 1356 te Brussel tegen de graaf van Vlaanderen.


Jaak Roelants was abt van Vlierbeek (+1415).


Wouter Roelants trad in den echt met Clemencien Pinnock, nicht van Lodewijk Uut den Lieminghe, heer van Put. Zijn echtgenoot was vrouwe van Wilsele.
