Notes about Jan Pipenpoy

 Jan was ook bij de samenzweerders van 1421, met zijn broeders Gijsbrecht, Wouter en Willem, maar kon tijdig ontsnappen en werd door de Staten van Brabant verbannen ( 6 maart 1421), verbleef dan een tijd in Dendermonde; begenadigd door Fililps de Goede in 1431, keerde hij terug naar Brussel, deed verhef van lenen in 1432 en was schepen in 1462 (hij was toen 75 jaar, luidens een akte)
